Camp Coconut - a safe, fun environment for children affected by the Tsunami

Camp Coconut is a Project to help Sri Lankan children overcome the trauma they have suffered as a result of the Tsunami disaster. It will encompass an outdoor activity centre with tree houses, rope walks, bike trails and all manner of 'outward-bound' facilities, together with a community centre and staff accomodation. The purpose is for these children to have a permanent and local base where they can feel safe, secure and have lots of fun!

In addition to a range of sporting activities and facilities, the children will also be able to benefit from the availability of English langiage tuition, PC skills tuition and film, dance, drama and art workshops.
